A few days ago I received a little bag of delights from Love Me Beauty, which came as something of a surprise. I had ordered from them before, but had attempted to cancel my subscription for last month, but assumed I had missed the cut off and simply wouldn’t receive another delivery. Apparently not, as yet another package that I didn’t want but definitely paid for arrived this week. After getting in touch with customer services my subscription is finally cancelled, but in all honesty this was definitely the best month so far, so I’m not complaining too much…
Benefit Ready, Set, BROW! Travel Size
I already use the Ka-BROW! and Gimme Brow from Benefit, but there are some days where I don’t want to fill them in so much as just control their manic antics. Ready, Set, BROW! is just the ticket for that, as it’s a colourless brow gel that does a damn good job of keeping the errant brow hairs under control. The little travel size is also great, as it’s the kind of thing I’ll chuck in my handbag when travelling for lazy mornings when I’m a tad hungover but still want to avoid looking a sight.
Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse Travel Size
I’ve mentioned this product before here and here as it’s my absolute favourite heavy moisturiser for using at night. It’s got a strong floral scent that’s still pleasant, and is an absolute miracle worker on my dry skin. Having it in a travel size is perfect for weekends away or spontaneous nights out, so it was a very pleasant surprise as when this popped through my letter box just as I was packing my handbag for one of those nights out.
Nuxe Rêve de Miel Travel Size
Despite the name this hand cream doesn’t smell of honey, but it does do a bang up job of keeping my hands moisturised, essential as we move ever closer to winter. It contains honey (quelle surprise), loads of precious oils and vitamin E, and it now lives with the detritus at the bottom of one of my handbags, so it’s always there when I need it.
Nuxe Gelée Exfoliante Douce Travel Size
I’m not really a fan of physical exfoliators with beads or such like, generally preferring acids. I gave this a go though, as I do love the Nuxe brand and it smells like roses. Rose is definitely not my favourite scent (or flower for that matter) but the scent isn’t over powering in this exfoliating gel, and is quite pleasant. This left my skin feeling soft, but as with most non-chemical exfoliants it left my skin feeling slightly tight and I had more dry patches the next day, so I’ve passed this on to my Mother who loves it.
Nuxe Body Travel Size
The simply named Nuxe Body is actually a body scrub containing almond and orange flower petals as the exfoliant and it smells delightful. Slightly citrusy, (well duh, Bethany, you just said it contains orange flower) I loved using it in the shower in the morning as it really wakes me up. Thanks to Love Me Beauty I seem to be building up a substantial travel size beauty and skin care collection, which is handy as I do tend to randomly go on holiday every now and then.
Considering I didn’t want any of this and was actually pretty cross when it came through my door, I’m really chuffed with my little travel size bits this month. Good job, Love Me Beauty, but seriously, don’t send me another one! I’m too poor!
Hopefully you’ve enjoyed this post, and if so keep an eye out as this is part of my Blogtober series where I post every day. Check out my other posts from this month and see whether I actually manage to even think of 31 topics!
